A traditional Finnish heater and infrared, built into the same sauna. Run them on their own, or together at the same time. You don't have to choose.
For years you had to pick a side — the fierce, cleansing heat of a Finnish sauna, or the soft, deep warmth of infrared. A hybrid gives you both, in one hand- built room, off one control panel.
Every hybrid starts the same way as our traditional saunas — built by hand in the Auckland workshop, from Finnish materials we import ourselves. The infrared just gives you a second way to warm up.

The one you grew up with
Fire the heater up to 70, 80, 90°C, throw water and aromatics on the stones, and let the löyly do its work. Nothing else switched on — just heat, steam and timber, the way it's done back home.
One room, two sources of heat
A hybrid is a proper Finnish sauna with infrared panels added in. Here's what each one brings.
Traditional fire-grade heat and the steam you throw yourself. Fit an evaporator and you get a steady rise of fragrant vapour on top — that touch of luxury Finns have chased for centuries.
Full-spectrum radiators that warm your body directly rather than heating the air. Soft, quick and healing in the muscles and mounted horizontally or vertically, wherever the room wants them.
One panel runs the lot. A single hybrid control unit handles the heater, the infrared and the humidity together — so switching modes is one dial, not a wrestling match.
Built to Finnish standard, and safe with it
We talk through every detail with you — size, heat source, layout, materials — before a single board is cut.
Oils, stone changes, bench sanding and full servicing — we look after the rooms we build, long after handover.
